HELP & CONTACT

Get clear on your work and pay.

Quick answers for setup, totals and your device-local records.

Getting started

Who is Worktavo for?
People paid by completed jobs, stops or pieces. The first pilot focuses on cable and fiber installers.
Which language and currency can I use?
The interface supports English and Spanish. The current pilot uses USD; your own work labels stay as entered.
Where can I download the app?
Worktavo is in internal testing. Public store downloads are not available yet.

Records and payments

What is the difference between earned and received?
Earned records the work completed. Expected pay includes company adjustments. Received is the money actually paid. The remaining balance compares expected pay with allocated payments.
What if I am paid weeks after the work?
Set your own delay in weeks and payday during setup. Change them in Settings → Pay schedule, or set an exception for one workweek. Record each payment on the date it arrives and apply it to the weeks it covers; expected dates are estimates.
Can I record a partial payment?
Yes. Record the actual receipt and allocate it to the workweek or weeks it covers. Any remaining amount stays visible.
Do rate changes affect old entries?
No. Earlier entries keep the rates recorded for those jobs. Corrections retain the original record.
Why are personal expenses separate?
Your own costs do not reduce what the payer owes you. Company deductions and personal expenses are different records.

Your data

Does Worktavo work offline?
The core ledger works offline. Your records are stored on your device; no mandatory account or cloud sync is implemented.
What if I lose my device?
Local storage is not a backup. App backup and restore are not available yet; do not rely on this pilot as the only copy of important records.
Does restoring purchases restore my work?
No. Purchase restoration would recover paid access. It would not restore device-local work records.
